‘방자전’ 이후 광고, 화보, MC 등 여러 분야에서 종횡무진 활약을 펼친 조여정이 최근 tvN의 수목드라마 ‘로맨스가 필요해’(정현정 극본, 이창한 연출)를 차기작으로 최종 확정 짓고 촬영준비에 돌입했다.
‘로맨스가 필요해’는 20∼30대 여성들의 연애와 결혼, 일과 가정에 대한 이야기를 다룬 작품으로 조여정은 당당하고 사랑스러운 여주인공 선우인영 役을 맡아 현대 여성들의 모습을 리얼하게 보여주며 극을 이끌어갈 예정이다.
복귀를 앞둔 조여정은 소속사를 통해 “이 시대를 살아가는 우리들의 이야기를 현실감 있게 보여줄 수 있게 될 것 같아 벌써부터 기대된다”고 소감을 전했다.
한편, 조여정은 이번 작품이 끝나는 대로 한중 합작 영화 및 국내 영화 촬영에 합류하며 계속해서 작품 활동을 이어갈 예정이다.

In ‘I Need Romance,’ which is about romance, marriage, career and families of women in 20s and 30s, Jo Yeo-jeong will play the lovely leading character Seonwoo In-young and realistically portray the life of a woman of today.
Through her agency, Jo Yeo-jeong said, “I am expecting that the drama will realistically portray our stories of today.”
Jo Yeo-jeong will join a Korean film and a joint Korean-and-Chinese film after the drama.
