태양은 지난달 말 SBS 가요프로그램 ‘인기가요’에서 1위를 한 직후 무대 뒤에서 로티플스카이를 만나 친구의 컴백을 축하했다. 로티플스카이는 빅뱅의 태양과는 초등학교, 지드래곤과는 중학교 친구 사이로 전해졌다.
로티플스카이는 “태양과는 평소 친한 친구지만 내가 새 앨범을 준비한다는 말은 일부러 하지 않았다”며 “얼마 전 ‘인기가요’에서 만났을 때 태양이 컴백한 내 모습을 보고 놀라는 한편 너무 좋아해줬다”고 말했다.
이어 로티플스카이는 ‘인기가요’에서 1위를 한 태양을 축하했다. “나도 오랜 친구인 태양이 빅뱅으로 잘 돼서 너무 좋다”며 “특히 ‘인기가요’에서 만난 날에는 태양이 2주 연속 1위를 해서 더욱 기뻤다”고 덧붙였다.
