윤 아나운서는 14일 보도자료를 통해 "모교인 숙명여대를 행사를 진행하던 중 숙대 총 동문회장인 이 씨의 어머니를 알게됐으며 이 인연으로 지난해 10월 이 씨를 소개받았다"고 밝혔다.
예비신랑 브라이언 이 씨는 미국에서 태어나 초ㆍ중ㆍ고등학교를 졸업했으며, 팬실베니아대 와튼 스쿨을 졸업했다. 현재는 국내 중견 IT 업체를 경영하는 부친의 회사에서 해외 사업 부문 부장으로 근무 중이다.
윤 아나운서는 예비신랑에 대해 "같이 있으면 재미있고 망설이는 일이 있을 때 옆에서 용기를 주는 사람"이라며 "결혼 후에도 SBS에서 아나운서로서 계속 활동할 것"이라고 밝혔다.
2000년 10월 SBS에 입사한 윤 아나운서는 주말 ’SBS 8뉴스’ 앵커를 맡고 있으며, ’TV 동물농장’ ’행복발전소’ 등을 진행하고 있다.

SBS announcer Yoon Hyun-jin is getting married with a second generation Korean-American who is the same age as her, 31, on May 10th at the Shilla Hotel located in Jangchungdong, Seoul.
In a press release, she was quoted as saying "I got to know the head of the Sookmyung Women’s University’s alumni association while I was hosting a ceremony of Sookmyung Women’s University, my alma mater, and she introduced me to her son in October of last year, who became my boyfriend."
Her would-be husband Brian was born in the United States and graduated elementary, middle and high school there, and graduated the Warton School of University of Pennsylvania. He is currently working as the head of the international business division of his father’s IT company.
Yoon Hyun-jin said that her would-be husband "is a person who is fun to be with and gives [her] courage whenever she faces uncertainties." She added "I am planning to continue to work as an SBS announcer even after marriage."
Yoon Hyun-jin started working for SBS since October 2000, and she is currently the main anchor of the "SBS 8 O’clock News" and hosts programs such as "TV Animal Farm" and "Happiness Power Station."
