가수 겸 뮤지컬 배우 옥주현(사진)이 핑클 재결성에 대해 입을 열었다.
옥주현은 6일 스포츠월드와의 인터뷰에서 ‘올해로 데뷔 10주년을 맞이한 핑클의 특별 무대는 없느냐’는 질문에 “멤버들 모두 각자의 영역에서 성공적으로 활동 중”이라며 “해체 후 오랫 동안 핑클로 활동하지 않아서 그런 무대를 위해 준비도 많이 해야 하는데 현실적으로 힘들다”고 대답했다. 이어 “섣부르게 그런 무대를 준비했다가 자칫 팬분들이 기억하고 계시는 핑클의 예전 모습을 무너뜨릴 수도 있다”고 덧붙였다.
그러나 핑클과 핑클 활동 시절에 대해서는 고마움을 표시했다. 옥주현은 “어쨋든 우리 모두 ‘메이드 인 핑클’이기 때문에 핑클이나 당시 활동할 때 도움을 주셨던 모든 이들에게 고마운 마음을 잊지 않고 있다”고 말했다. 한편, 옥주현은 오는 13일 3집 솔로앨범 ‘리마인드(Remind)’를 발표하고 타이틀곡 ‘허니(Honey)’로 본격적인 가수 활동을 시작한다.

“We might damage the image Finkl used to have.”
Singer and musical actress Ock Joohyun talked about the reunion of the pop group Finkl.
In an interview with Sportsworld on the 6th, Ock Joohyun said, "All the members of Finkl are successfully building their careers in their own fields. After Finkl members went their own ways, we haven’t worked as ’Finkl’ for quite a long time, so there will be too many things for us to prepare, and that is realistically impossible."
when asked whether Finkl will have a special concert to celebrate their tenth anniversary this year. She added, "We might even damage the reputation and image fans of Finkl used to have and remember."
However, she expressed her gratitude during the time they worked as Finkl. She said, "We cannot forget how grateful we are to those who helped us in many ways when we worked as Finkl, because we cannot deny that we are all ’made in Finkl.’" Ock Joohyun will release her third solo album ’Remind’ on the 13th, and start working again as a singer with her new title song ’Honey.’
